“Globalisation and technological change mean Intellectual Property has never been as important, or as valuable as it is today.”
The brief for this project was to engage staff in the launch of the agency’s strategic roadmap – a document setting out IP Australia’s vision, goals and priorities to 2030. In short, it was all about bringing life to a corporate planning document, and creating a basic level of awareness across the agency.
For that reason, we worked with a small group people from different business units over the course of a day to film the supplied script as short pieces to camera. This presented a logistical challenge – filming in just three locations in a working office, under very tight time constraints. Good humour prevailed, colleagues postponed using nearby microwaves, and small crowds gathered behind the camera to give moral support to the staff in front of it.
