“People are coming into our offices and actually asking for help in all our communities. It says to us that our work is being noticed by community and that when they come to us they’re going to get that support – black fellas talking to black fellas and helping each other out, and that’s the way it should be.” – Leah Lang, Family Wellbeing, Southwest Regional Services Coordinator
For Goolburri Aboriginal Health Advancement’s 30-year celebrations, we created a video showcasing the impact of their services to First Nations and non-Indigenous communities across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region of South West Queensland.
Through interviews with team members and footage of service delivery in Toowoomba, Dalby, Warwick, Allora, and Ipswich, we highlighted Goolburri’s commitment to strengthening communities and families through a wide range of health and wellbeing services – from oral and primary health care to Community and Family Wellbeing, Foster and Kinship Care, Supporting Elders in their home, and the Bunji Burri to Gunadoos program for young families.
This is the second project we’ve produced with Goolburri, and was a privilege to help honour their dedication to community care.
We’re extremely happy with the new video – thank you! An amazing job, and we are all very grateful for your hard work. The video was so moving that it even brought a tear to Lizzie’s eyes. Your dedication and talent truly shine through in this project. Once again, thank you for your excellent work. We look forward to collaborating with you again in the future.
