“We don’t want to just be any company – we want to be a brand of products that are more sustainable.” – Mason Cilia, Director
Ciltech is a West Australian company whose aluminium-framed floating jetty systems provide an alternative to traditional concrete coated polystyrene – prone to cracking and releasing white spill into waterways.
Featuring an interview with Director Mason Cilia, the video explores the complexity of the design process and showcases the company’s expertise in fabricating reliable, sustainable solutions for marine applications across Australia. We also filmed two of Ciltech’s largest installations – Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and Hillarys Boat Harbour – showcasing their innovative designs in action.
This project is one of the ‘Crafted with Capral’ series – an annual collection of eight videos we’ve been producing since 2022, each highlighting Australian manufacturers who use aluminium in innovative ways. From buses and trucks to playground equipment, boats, and building facades, each video offers a behind-the-scenes look at how everyday products are designed and built, and captures the creativity and expertise driving Australian manufacturing.
